Self Help Group (SHG) is a homogeneous members’ group from local community came together to solve their common problem. We ensure quality group formation by facilitating group members to generate their own bye-laws which helps to maintain the group quality and faith in the group members. We ensure to include 10-20 homogeneous members in the group and conduct monthly meeting to build saving habits in members and link the group with local banks for lending. While forming the groups, the coordinator elects five members as office bearers viz. President, Vice President, Secretary, Joint Secretary and Treasurer to build team spirit and leadership skills in members. Along with regular assistance and capacity building, we do the quality check of the groups on half yearly basis to maintain the group quality. In order to introduce new services, improve socio-economic conditions and to inspire the group members, we collaborate with different institutions/ individuals.
