Education is a fundamental right for all individuals. An equitable education equips individuals with knowledge, skills, values, and mindsets needed to bring about a positive change in the community. Our aim at Aasra is to ensure that all children of our Safai Sathis get the basic education and an opportunity to choose their livelihood options in the future.
Education plays an important role in advancing and lifting an entire generation. A creche area is developed for children of Safai Sathis. While Safai Sathis are working, their children are taken care of at the creche. Toys and books are placed for the children aged 4 – 6 years. For children from 6 – 14 years, daily tuition classes are conducted to support their education.

Education Policy Access: Centrally sponsored Pre-Matric Scholarships are available for Safai Sathis’ children. Aasra has been instrumental in advocating for rights for children’s education.
Donations: Donations are accepted in kind like bags, raincoats, educational support items, toys, books amongst other support items to children.
